The Researcher

The Researcher is the history journal of the Carteret County Historical Society, Inc. (CCHS).  Its purpose is to present and preserve the history and culture of Carteret County and surrounding  areas in written form.  All CCHS members and/or interested individuals are invited to submit material for possible publication in this journal. Scholarly research, family histories and genealogies, as well as historical anecdotes will be accepted.  The CCHS Publications Committee will review all articles to determine those that will appear in The Researcher.  Articles should be typed and submitted to the Carteret County Historical Society at 1008 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557. If possible, the articles should also be submitted as an electronic file on a CD or may be e-mailed to historyplace@thehistoryplace.org
