The Les A. Ewen Auditorium/Banquet Room has also generated additional income for the museum by renting the space out for area events, weddings, receptions and concerts. The auditorium/banquet room holds 165 people seated at tables and 200 people theater style. A conference room is also available for smaller groups of 20 people or less.

The rates are reasonable and all proceeds go to the historical society. The History Place offers a unique atmosphere that attracts people to hold their events here. They can walk out of the auditorium; wander around the museum while they are here and get a feel for the history of the county. It's just a very different and memorable setting.
